This is exactly why simply โwaking people upโ doesnโt work.
People can watch documentaries for years, read books, share posts about corruption, manipulation and fake progress โ and still remain stuck in the same patterns.
Real understanding and change only arise when they start doing โ building, creating, taking ownership.
This is why OIM is not just about talking about problems, but mainly about building solutions:
- Not just complaining that leasing is bad, but focusing on ownership ourselves.
- Not just ranting about dependency, but building local resilience.
- Not just criticising centralisation, but creating parallel structures.
The shift from hearing โ seeing โ doing is the real transition from consumer to sovereign human being.
OIM Way Out
Stop only informing and waking people up.
Start doing.
- Write your own thesis or RVN
- Build something local (vegetable garden, barter network, knowledge group)
- Verify things yourself instead of blindly believing
- Take back ownership, no matter how small
Only by doing will we truly understand.
