If I were the devil, I would subvert the churches first. Whisper: do as you please. To the young: the Bible is a myth. What’s bad is good. What’s good is square. Teach the old to pray to Washington. Then the rest. Lurid literature that makes everything else dull. Dirtier films. Drugs. Alcohol. Pills. Families at war with themselves. Churches. Nations. Until each in its turn is consumed.
He repeated it in later years. The core stayed: remove the standard, set the family against itself, give the media the flame, let the state take the place of the father.

No revelation. A radio man who in 1965 wrote down how you empty a society from the inside. Start with the church. Whisper that the book is a myth. Make good and evil reversible. Let the families fight themselves. Give the media the flame. Teach people to pray to the government.
Sixty years later the clip circulates because the lines are recognisable. Not because Harvey saw the future. Because the steps he named were taken. Not everywhere. Not as a plan. As a pattern.
